Cleaner – Faversham
We are currently recruiting a reliable and committed Cleaner to join one of our partnered secondary schools in Sittingbourne. This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. While previous experience in a school setting is beneficial, it is not essential, general cleaning experience, punctuality, and a positive attitude are what matter most.
Contract: Part time, starting ASAP
Salary: £75 - £85 per day
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness across classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
* Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
* Ensure hygiene standards are upheld in line with school policies
* Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
* Report any maintenance or safety issues to site management
* Work independently and as part of a team to ensure a safe and clean environment for pupils and staff
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous cleaning experience in schools, offices, or public buildings – preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work
* Able to work independently and manage time effectively
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
