Job Title: Trainee Laser Operator
Location: Sheffield Site
Salary: 12.50 - 15 per hour DOE

About the role:
* Assist in the operation of laser cutting equipment under the guidance of experienced operators.
* Learn to set up machine parameters to support optimal cutting results.
* Observe and monitor the cutting process to gain understanding of accuracy and efficiency requirements.
* Support routine maintenance tasks and help identify basic equipment issues.
* Participate in inspecting finished parts for quality and report any defects.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
About you:
* A willingness to learn and develop technical skills in laser cutting operations.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing processes.
* An ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
* The ability or willingness to learn to interpret engineering drawings.
* A commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures.
* Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow within a manufacturing environment.
