We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our growing team.
You will be based at our office near Leominster in a beautiful rural location with fantastic views across the surrounding countryside.

Wind & Sun are major UK distributors and wholesalers for solar PV, wind and battery storage electrical equipment for both on-grid and off-grid applications.
We help with specifying and supplying goods, service, training and technical support to installers and industry professionals across the UK and worldwide.

Key responsibilities
* Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and through the website
* Producing quotations for a variety of systems and products
* Meeting and greeting customers and visitors
* Participating in customer training events
* Attending trade shows
* Generating new sales opportunities and increasing sales
Account management
* Building strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
* Ensuring regular contact and maintenance of contact records utilising our CRM
Technical
* Keeping up-to-date with new products, technical solutions and regulations
* Helping customers to find the best technical solution for their project
* Answering technical support queries, pre and post sales
* Troubleshooting issues, identifying faults and handling returns
* Working closely as a team with sales, technical, warehouse and management staff
* Liaising with suppliers for technical support and warranty cases
What we're looking for
* Understanding of renewable energy concepts (regular training provided)
* Consultative selling, interpretation of customer requirements to aid specification and customer quotations
* Ability to apply good diagnostic methods
* Excellent IT skills to utilise CRM, Microsoft 365, order processing and manufacturer’s design software packages
* Ability to explain technical concepts
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask
* Interest in renewable energy
* A desire to learn and develop
* Able to work as a team member and on own initiative
* Willingness to work flexibly and undertake other duties if required
* Self-motivation, desire to find new opportunities and make the most out of the job
Experience in a similar position will be looked upon favourably, as will transferable skills from other industries and recent graduates with previous experience of dealing with customers/clients on a daily basis.
Hours
Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00
Closed at weekends and bank holidays
Closed over Christmas, typically 3 days of holiday is reserved for this
Holiday
21 days + bank holidays. You will be entitled to an additional day’s annual leave for each completed year of service up to a maximum of five additional days.

Pay: £28,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
