Are you a sports graduate with the energy, resilience, and confidence to support a lively Year 3 pupil with additional needs? A primary school in Westerhope is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with high SEND and behavioural needs.

What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 support to a Year 3 boy with complex SEND and behavioural needs.
* Using positive behaviour strategies, patience, and consistency to keep him engaged in learning.
* Bringing energy and enthusiasm, whether that’s supporting in the classroom or using movement and sport to help with regulation.
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow support plans.
* Creating a safe, structured environment where the pupil can feel supported and understood.
About you:
* Sports graduate (or similar background) with a passion for working with children.
* Resilient, energetic, and able to stay calm in challenging situations.
* Patient, proactive, and confident in building relationships.
* Some experience of SEND or behavioural support is an advantage, but training will be provided.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
