About the Role: Design and deliver engaging and informative Science lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum. Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of science, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core scientific concepts, experimental methods, and practical applications. Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond). Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to school-wide events. Take on a leadership role within the Science department, such as leading a specific subject area or coordinating a particular project. The Ideal Candidate: Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or a closely related subject. Demonstrates a strong passion for Science and a captivating teaching style. Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a single-sex learning environment. Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students. Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
