Overview

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This role supports the global Command and Control Mission Systems (C2MS) program and contributes to the Systems/Network Administration team, maintaining C2MS networks in OCONUS locations.
Responsibilities
* Apply industry standard systems administration and client administration.
* Troubleshoot hardware/software issues to include Dell, HP, Pivot3, VMWare, Citrix.
* Create, track and resolve escalated service desk action items.
* Maintain the security and stability of cross-domain enterprise level solutions.
* Provide detailed technical solutions.
* Build, install, move and/or breakdown systems on-site or remotely.
* Create detailed technical reports and metrics.
* Interact with customers and support personnel at on/off-site data centers.
* Be familiar with Linux audit and reporting tasks.
Minimum Requirements
* 2+ years experience in Systems Administration.
* Hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX in an Enterprise environment.
* Active Top Secret/TS clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
* Enterprise management experience including LDAP, configuration management tools, DNS, repositories, backups, and log management.
* Troubleshooting experience of Enterprise-level environments.
* Data Center experience.
* Shell scripting experience.
* Customer service experience.
* Responsive Service Desk experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Knowledge in Electronic Flight Bags Systems Administration.
Desired Qualifications
* Associate degree or higher preferred.
Physical Demands
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds independently as part of regular job duties.
