CNC Programmer
Location: Abingdon
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join a fast-growing team based in Didcot. In this role, you'll play a vital part in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components across industries such as aerospace, electronics, and industrial manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program and set up CNC machines to ensure they meet technical specifications for a variety of complex projects.
* Operate CNC milling, turning, and drilling machines to manufacture parts with a high level of accuracy.
* Monitor machine operations during production, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of setups, production logs, tooling data, and machine performance.
* Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to resolve any technical challenges and ensure the timely completion of production targets.
Essential Requirements:
1. At least 2 years' experience in CNC machining, including any apprenticeships.
2. Solid experience in a precision engineering environment.
