We are looking for an enthuastic assistant designer or Design Graduate with an internship / Industry experience to join the team.
Junior Designer – The Role
* Continuous trend research and high street analysis.
* Create trend boards/ books and shop reports.
* Translate design briefs into commercial ranges.
* Seasonal sourcing of fabrics and trims.
* Producing design spec packs for sampling.
* Liaising with Far East factories.
* Liaison with Buyers, ensuring excellent customer service.
* Presenting to Buyers as part of a team.
Junior Designer – The Person
* Internship / experience within Industry / design preferable
* Strong interest in commercial Menswear/Boyswear
* A good eye for embellishments, graphics and print.
* Confident user of Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Able to produce accurate and detailed specs / tech packs
* Experience of Graphic design would be of benefit
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Self-motivated and a good team spirit.
* Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
