Role Overview
Are you looking for a new challenge and want to be part of an expanding business, filled with fun & exciting opportunities? Come and join our team of superheroes, as we recruit our next generation of Sales Assistants for Smyths Toys Superstores. This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.50 per hour for over 21 and £10.25 per hour for under 21.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high level of customer service
* Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
* Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
* Keep the store clean and tidy
* Pack shelves and merchandise
* Work delivery and complete price changes
* Work on the tills
* Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers
The Ideal Candidate
Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:
* Outdoor/Bikes
* Nursery
* Software & Gaming
Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible. Initially, you will be hired on a temporary basis to give you the opportunity to see if you enjoy this fast paced world of retail.
