We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Person to join our friendly, supportive team at our Fordingbridge care home.
Glynn Court Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 31 people over the age of 65, some of whom are living with dementia or physical health needs, and has a rating of Good by the CQC.
The role consists of the general maintenance and upkeep of the property. To carry out the work you will require basic plumbing, electrical, decorating and carpentry skills. You will also need a basic tool kit that will enable you to carry out these tasks. Any other necessary tools will be provided.
The job role also includes maintaining the garden area, lawn mowing, hedge cutting, weeding and general upkeep of the garden area to keep it to a high standard.
You should have experience in using the necessary gardening equipment, and you should be reliable, as our residents enjoy sitting out in the garden in the good weather.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has a caring nature and good communication skills, and you should come from a maintenance related field.
We are offering a salary of between £12.21 and £15, dependant on experience.
