Position
Senior Residential Support Worker at a registered residential children’s home (2‑bed home) located in Romford/Wickford, Essex. The role supports children with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a trauma‑informed, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Support children with learning disabilities and ASD by providing consistent, empathetic care within a trauma‑informed framework. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children in care.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children with learning disabilities and ASD is essential.
* Formal qualifications in Social Care, Children’s Services, or similar fields are valued.
* Deep passion for working with children and a commitment to providing consistent, empathetic care.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma‑informed approaches.
* Team player who collaborates with colleagues to create the best outcomes for the children.
* Positive, motivated, and enthusiastic individual driven by making a difference and providing the best care.
