You will be results driven and you will assist the Head Chef work closely with our supply chain partners, in house centralised services, and on property teams to ensure seamless operations, consistent standards, and an exceptional guest experience. You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen excellence, supporting menu innovation, and fostering a collaborative, motivated team culture.You will embrace every opportunity to create extra special moments for our guests and provide a personal experience our guests will want to share.Main Responsibilities:Support the Head Chef in managing food and sundry costs by maintaining strong stock control practices and minimising waste.Assist with basic payroll and food-cost checks, ensuring information is accurate and shared promptly with the Head Chef for review and action.Contribute to maintaining cost-effective kitchen operations by following purchasing procedures and helping monitor usage levels.Play an active role in developing and mentoring junior chefs, helping to build a confident, multi-skilled team.Be highly visible and hands-on during key service periods, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standard and service runs smoothly.Uphold a strong focus on guest satisfaction, ensuring every dish and interaction reflects personalised, attentive service.About you:We love to welcome people with different experiences and from different places into our Apex family.
