Teaching Assistant (Level 3) 15 hours per week (Term-time only) 9:15 12:15 daily Salary Scale Grade :7 Temporary contract until 31st August 2026 Closing date 15 th October We are looking for nurturing and proactive Teaching assistant level 3 to support the academic, social, and emotional development of a child in Year 6. Working at St Andrew s CE Primary School, you will contribute to enable the child to thrive in school and be a valued member of our school team. The successful candidates will have: Provide one-to-one and small group support to the pupil, tailoring your approach to their individual needs for a child with ASC and ADHD and social emotional difficulties. To provide specific therapeutic interventions as directed by professionals. Have a sound knowledge/experience working with children with ASC and ADHD Support a personalised programme of support to maximise the pupil s strengths. Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities. Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement the pupil's support plan. Monitor the pupil's progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher. Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. To support environmental adaptations to provide a suitable programme of sensory support. To build a strong relationship as a key person to support the pupil. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development in upper keystage 2.
