Hays are working with a prestigious organisation in Telford who are looking for a Marketing andmunications Officer on a contract basis, this role is responsible for promoting, enhancing, and protecting the organisation’s reputation while championing its services and brands. The role involves developing and delivering effective marketing andmunications campaigns aligned with organisational objectives and target audiences, ensuring creativity and consistency across all channels.
Your new role
As a Marketing andmunications officer, your role will involve:
1. Develop and execute marketing andmunications campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
2. Create accurate, timely, and engaging content (written, visual, and multimedia) for various channels.
3. Manage externalmunications and campaigns supporting strategic objectives.
4. Use project planning techniques to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
5. Provide editorial and copywriting services for online content, newsletters, and social media.
6. Support graphic design, video production, and photography requirements.
7. Organise and host corporate andmunication events.
8. Maintain and update websites using CMS platforms, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
9. Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness, providing reports and rmendations.
10. Stay informed on industry trends and share updates internally.
11. Represent the Marketing andmunications team on relevant projects.
12. Build positive working relationships across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
13. Excellent writing skills for varied channels and audiences.
14. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
15. Digital content creation and CMS management skills.
16. Proficiency in social media for business and analytics tools.
17. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
18. Ability tomunicateplex information clearly.
19. Ability to work at pace and adapt to changing priorities.
20. Knowledge of SEO and web analytics.
21. Understanding of sector-specific challenges and regulatory frameworks.
22. Relevant degree, HNC, or equivalent professional qualification (Essential).
23. Proven experience in marketing andmunications (Essential).
24. Full UK driving licence.
