Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, ensuring all details are handled meticulously.
* Deliver internal Brocket Hall events to high standards, on time and within budget.
* Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing their requirements and expectations throughout the planning process.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus aligned with event themes.
* Manage and supervise event staff, providing training and guidance for exceptional service.
* Manage staff schedules within company budgets and parameters.
* Fulfilling FOH shifts as needed to support the hospitality team.
* Represent Brocket Hall at external marketing events, career fairs, and exhibitions.
* Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners for seamless event delivery.
* Monitor budgets and expenses to meet profitability targets while maintaining quality.
* Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify improvements.
* Stay updated on industry trends to enhance event offerings and guest experiences.
* Collaborate with marketing to promote events and increase engagement.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Events Manager or similar role in hospitality or events industry.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Understanding of fine and casual dining to support diverse event functionalities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Negotiation skills for securing favorable vendor terms.
* Creative mindset with attention to detail and aesthetics.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Relevant qualifications in event management or hospitality are advantageous.
