What you'll do
Retail Supervisor in High Wycombe
35 hours per week
At Toolstation, we’re not just interested in what you can bring to us today. We’re also interested in developing your talents, so you can grow with our business and become one of our leaders of tomorrow.
You'll be the face of Toolstation, making a fantastic first impression, building long-lasting relationships, and going above and beyond to make our customers happy. This isn’t your average retail role. It’s much more than just a store job. As a retail supervisor, you’ll serve customers, support the Store Manager, check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse, and stock shelves. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. But if you take pride in your work and your team’s work, our customers will notice and appreciate us all the more for it.
Day-to-day
1. Supporting: Standing in for the Store Manager when needed, motivating and engaging the team, and coaching team members to grow sales and achieve targets.
2. Mucking in: Checking and unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, cleaning the branch, and assembling orders.
3. Delivering great service: Providing excellent customer experiences with a positive attitude, and coaching the team to do the same.
4. Building relationships: Asking questions to understand customer needs and ensuring they leave satisfied and with everything they need for their jobs.
5. Creating a fun working environment: Maintaining product availability and branch standards while ensuring the branch is a place everyone enjoys coming to work.
