Clear Path Analysis has established itself as a leading provider of peer-to-peer content media for the institutional finance sector.
The business owns two 'market insight' websites,

, that offer senior executives in the insurance and investment management industry insights into the latest opinions, key trends, and market changes that help key decisions be made and industry evolution happen.
Alongside the two websites, Clear Path Analysis currently organises on an annual basis:

bespoke webinars and market studies
Having established a unique style of peer-to-peer content, a model driven by influential industry contributors, the business is seeking to grow and strengthen its portfolio of media to capture market share and consolidate its position as a market leader in the chosen sectors.
Each team member 'owns' their job role and is encouraged to share thoughts on how to develop their own tasks and responsibilities in line with company aims and be part of an open structure to help forge the business's future. Overview of Role
The role will be focused on the production of editorial pieces and the management of content on the trade market websites.
What we expect of you
The successful candidate will report to the Managing Editor and be responsible for:
· Editing and publishing several articles on the website per week, including responsibility for article headline, image, stand-first, and formatting selection
· Establishing contact and forging relationships with senior industry personalities and their press relations and marketing teams, to generate written, telephone/video interview, or podcast perspectives for both
Insurance-
and
· Ad hoc management of special editorial projects, conducting background research and writing summaries of industry developments, that are driven by industry stakeholders (investment groups, regulators, and government or international bodies)
· Proofreading the Managing Editor's articles (and likewise for the Editorial executive) before publishing
· Interviewing contributors to Clear Path Analysis reports and events, for use on both websites as well as for pre-event marketing promotion
· Proofreading roundtable transcripts in preparation for publication
· Working on the events for Clear Path Analysis; liaising with the content producer on questions, panel discussion details, as well as moderating/hosting fireside chats and panel discussions at our conferences throughout the year and/or webinars.
· Represent the business at press conferences, events, meetings with clients and other activities outside the office in a professional manner.
· Some data journalism skills or a desire to learn.
The ideal candidate will
:
· Have a degree in Journalism/Communications or a similar applicable field. And/or have completed the NCTJ.
· Be familiar with some of the industry language. If no experience with institutional finance media, then experience in other business-to-business media would be seen as a strong positive.
· Have training and developed skills in social media writing and/or data visualisation graphics
· Be experienced in writing high-quality copy to a high standard of written English
· Be creative in their thinking and flexible to working on multiple projects simultaneously that may focus on very different subjects

The role will be hybrid – 3 days per week in our central London office, 2 days working from home.
