Scheme Manager : Homeownership : Part Time
Broadstairs, Kent
GBP 19,538 : GBP 20,143 per year
27.5 hours per week : Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm
We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager : Homeownership to join our Homeownership team in Broadstairs. The role is lone working, there are 4 other scheme managers within the South East Homeownership team who report to the Homeownership Officer.
This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management setting and aware of safeguarding concerns.
The role of Scheme Manager : Homeownership will include:

Responsible for providing a high:quality housing management service, including welfare checks, and promoting independent living

Providing tenancy advice to residents
:
Encouraging residents to organise and get involved in activities
:
Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
:
Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
:
Wellbeing calls to residents via warden call system
:
Supporting the lettings team to manage vacant flats
:
Providing cover at schemes in the region for other Scheme Managers
:
Managing low level anti:social behaviour
Skills and experiences:

Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths

Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar

Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines

Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information

Good interpersonal and customer care skills
:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
