The core purpose of this role is to manage, create and distribute engaging, insightful and impactful content for our clients, to help reach and attract their ideal customers, build their brands, and help us achieve their overarching marketing objectives.
You will work in our dedicated content marketing team, while working closely with our account management, performance marketing, graphic design and web teams. You will also work collaboratively with our clients and the subject matter experts across their companies.
This role will involve leading the content planning and creation for several key client accounts, and supporting the full agency with the delivery of high quality content for all clients. Here is a summary of the key areas we'd like this role to support with initially:
Content strategy, planning and analysis:
* Develop content marketing ideas for client campaigns and roadmaps
* Present content marketing ideas and plans to clients
* Monitor and optimise key content marketing metrics
* Lead and join content-related brainstorming sessions
* Review and approve content created by junior team members
* Liaise with clients to gain content feedback and approval
Content creation and distribution:
* Create high quality blog posts, technical articles, case studies and customer stories, and website content
* Plan, create and manage social media content, including short-form video content
* Plan, create and manage email marketing content
* Draft and distribute press releases
* Plan and manage photo and video shoots alongside our partner companies / freelancers
* Manage high value content projects, such as ebooks, whitepapers, reports, webinars, etc.
* Interview subject matter experts within our clients' companies
* Conduct extensive research for content being created
* Work closely with our graphic designers to develop effective visual content
* Creation of graphics using templates in Canva
The person we are looking for...
* Has studied marketing, PR or journalism
* Has a minimum of 3 years' marketing, PR or journalism experience
* Has strong and demonstrable writing and editing skills, and the ability to take complex, technical topics and turn them into engaging, insightful content
* Has a journalistic approach to content creation, with an appetite for finding and telling great stories across all media types
* Has strong attention to detail
* Has experience working in the energy and/or property sectors
* Has experience in advising, collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders
* Is passionate about digital marketing
* Is ambitious and driven
* Would describe themselves as a "people person"
