About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our growing team, covering domestic and light commercial projects across Surrey and Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a basic understanding of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) who is eager to develop their skills and progress into renewable heating technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in domestic and small commercial settings
* Assist in the installation of Air Source Heat Pump systems under supervision/training
* Work closely with heating engineers to ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
* Diagnose and rectify plumbing and basic heating issues
* Maintain accurate job records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
* Proven experience as a plumber in domestic or light commercial environments
* Basic knowledge or exposure to Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
* Full UK driving licence
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Willingness to undertake further training in renewable heating systems
Desirable (but not essential):
* Unvented hot water (G3) certification
* Previous experience installing or maintaining renewable heating systems
* CSCS or equivalent site safety card
