Excellent Music Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive Performing Arts department
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to work in one of Oxfordshire’s most respected secondary schools. This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in September 2025, and is suitable for an experienced practitioner or an ambitious early career teacher.
The Music department is exceptionally well-equipped and enjoys a high level of student participation at all levels. You will teach a broad Music curriculum at KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-Level Music and Music Technology if desired. The role includes oversight of co-curricular ensembles, concerts, and musical productions.
Experience and Qualifications
• Music degree and a formal teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE)
• Experience delivering engaging music lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Confidence in piano/keyboard skills and ensemble direction
• Ability to teach theory, composition, and performance
• Right to work in the UK
