Job Opportunity: Lead Clinician
Location: Chestnut Hill School, Flintshire, Wales CH8 9DX
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only (full-time possible upon discussion)
Salary & Benefits: We are trialing a 4-Day Working Week, so you may work four days and be paid for five, following successful passing of a 6-month probation (terms apply). If successful, this will be rolled out across the Group.
About the Role
We seek a Lead Clinician to oversee our Clinical Team at Chestnut Hill School. The role involves clinical leadership, managing a therapy caseload, and collaborating with senior staff. You will deliver assessments and interventions for pupils with complex needs, including autism, neurodivergence, trauma, and SEMH. You will also manage the clinical team members and contribute to staff training and consultation.
This position requires a resilient, enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage workload and supervise others. The role supports the integration of clinical services into school operations, including assessments, advice, and direct interventions, aligned with pupils' EHCPs.

Minimum Requirements
* Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy (Postgraduate/Masters), or registered Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC
* Current professional registration (HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT)
* Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs
* Strong report writing skills
* Experience supervising therapy teams
* Ability to work independently
* Experience in multi-professional team settings (preferred)
* Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
