Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our hotel team and take ownership of all things facilities, safety, and preventative maintenance.
With 110 bedrooms, public areas, kitchens, and guest facilities to oversee, this is a role for someone who takes pride in ensuring every detail works perfectly – because you know that a well-maintained hotel makes all the difference to the guest experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Managing all aspects of hotel maintenance – from guest rooms and public areas to back-of-house operations
* Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues with minimal disruption
* Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and prolong equipment life
* Monitoring energy usage and identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, fire regulations, and hotel brand standards
* Liaising with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers as required
* Keeping accurate maintenance records, inventories, and compliance logs
* Managing a small team (where applicable) or working autonomously with efficiency and accountability
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role – ideally within hotels or hospitality
* Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
* A qualification or certification in a relevant trade is a plus
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
* A calm, can-do attitude with great communication skills
* Comfortable using maintenance management systems (or willing to learn)
