We are actively recruiting for Building Surveyors at various levels (Apprentice to Chartered) who wish to develop their careers while working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at one of our four offices – Braintree, London, Cambridge or Birmingham. Subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
* Assisting with / Conducting building condition surveys and producing clear, insightful reports for clients
* Supporting the preparation of tender documentation including drawings, specifications and schedules of work
* Assisting with tender submissions, contractor analysis and drafting/raising of JCT construction contracts
* Organising and attending pre‑contract briefings and ensuring smooth project handovers with the team
* Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress and health & safety compliance
* Inputting and managing fee projections for financial profiling across various projects
* Attending client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence
* Travelling to sites and client locations as required
Requirements
Apprentice level
* A‑Level qualifications in line with UCAS requirements (or predicted)
* An interest in Building Surveying
Building Surveyor
* A relevant degree or strong working experience
* Experience working with AutoCAD
* Working towards or hoping to achieve RICS Chartership
* MRICS Chartered
Driving Licence Requirement: This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
