The RoleYou will work closely with the Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You will lead by example, support staff development, and help create a positive, nurturing environment for children and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the daily operations of the nursery
* Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
* Ensure full compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers
* Oversee planning, observations, and children's development
* Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
* Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
* Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursery role
* Leadership skills with the ability to support and delegate effectively
* A positive, professional, and proactive approach
* A genuine passion for early years education and childcare
Salary and Benefits
