Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected private healthcare clinic, to recruit a Receptionist for a permanent, part-time position.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional and patient-focused team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient clinic environment while supporting clinicians and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities for the Receptionist role:
1. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area for patients and visitors.
• Organise patient check-ins and ensure smooth treatment transitions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure a safe environment.
• Manage daily billing, including invoicing and liaising with insurance providers.
• Handle and update patient data accurately and confidentially.
• Oversee stock levels and report shortages as needed.
• Manage appointments and scheduling efficiently.
• Process email referrals following clinic protocols.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards when handling patient and business information.
• Follow Health & Safety policies, including infection control and risk reporting.
• Support equality, diversity, and patients’ rights in all interactions.
Candidate Requirements for the Receptionist role:
2. Strong IT skills, including email, Word, and Excel.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and organised.
• Flexible, with a professional appearance and strong telephone etiquette.
• Willingness to cover additional reception hours as needed and work at multiple clinic locations.
