The role
* Working closely with the Leadership team you will review current standards and recommend and implement new procedures and standards as appropriate
* You will liaise with relevant external bodies and have strong influencing and training skills to champion the importance of HSE matters on a site wide basis
* Sharing HSE best practise and managing the audit programme
* Working closely with teams to inspire a positive HSE culture and gain buy in for change and new initiatives
Experience;
* NEBOSH Certificate with proven HSE leadership experience
* Experience gained working within the food manufacturing sector
* A Health & Safety champion and be committed to working with teams to develop key behaviours
* A track record of delivering improvement and effective management and resolution of related issues
* Experience of change management and gaining buy in for initiatives from teams
