Our client, a leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers, are looking to recruit an Accounts Associate to join their Inverness Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong base of accounts experience to develop their career within a highly supportive environment.
The opportunity
As an Accounts Associate you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
* Understand and become involved in basic compliance tasks.
* Preparation of basic computations for review by senior staff.
* Work within your own chargeable time budget.
Day to day duties
* Provide assistance with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and record keeping for clients.
* Assist your colleagues with obtaining information for the completion of tax and VAT returns.
* Communicate with HMRC and really gaining a full insight into the world of accounts.
* Involvement in basic compliance.
* Work both autonomously and as part of a team.
* Assist in a reasonable manner with administrative tasks.
