SEMH Teaching Assistant required for a 1:1 TA post in Lancaster (LA1) - Full time SEMH Support Role – November 2025 Start - Experience supporting learners with SEMH essential for this post - Competitive rates of pay dependant on experience Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary School in Lancaster who are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their staffing team on a full-time basis starting in after the October half term (November 2025). This is a full-time role that will be on going until the end of the academic year. There may be the opportunity to work on to a school-based contract for the right person. To be considered for this role, you will have prior experience supporting children or young people with SEMH. The child that the successful applicant will be supporting will benefit from a compassionate TA who is calm and understanding. The child is in a Year 4 class and requires full time assistance to help them to progress both socially and academically. The successful TA will receive continual support from the schools SENDCO and senior leaders.
