Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant & Host to support our Sales, Events & Marketing Manager in driving revenue, brand awareness, and customer engagement. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in hospitality sales, events, and marketing. You’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences, assisting with event planning and execution, and managing digital content across our social channels.
This is a support role with a strong focus on organisation, creativity, and customer service, where you’ll help bring our events and marketing campaigns to life.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Marketing
* Assist in the planning and delivery of in-house events and activations
* Support venue teams and event organisers during live events
* Support the delivery of marketing campaigns and activations
* Manage and grow the venue’s social media presence to increase visibility and engagement
* Create engaging content including reels, posts, and stories
* Produce digital and print marketing assets such as event flyers, posters, and screen promotions
Sales & Bookings
* Support the Sales & Events Manager with day-to-day operations and projects
* Manage incoming pre-booked enquiries via online platforms, phone and email
* Provide excellent customer service, handling guest requests and booking queries
* Maximise pre-booked F&B revenue through cross‑selling and upselling
* Assist with researching and developing client databases
* Help source new business opportunities and establish databases for targeted communications
* Build rapport with guests and support long-term client relationships
* Assist with proactive sales outreach and support in building new business opportunities
* Supporting the day to day running of the venue being the first person our customers interact with, managing the booking system especially with large events
