Legal Counsel
Location: London (Hybrid)
Our client is for a highly skilled and proactive Legal Counsel to support our expanding legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on commercial, corporate, and M&A matters within the dynamic landscapes of BPO, AI, and tech.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Law & Contracts
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.
* Advise on contractual risks, obligations, and mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
* Support M&A activities including due diligence, deal structuring, and post-deal integration.
* Coordinate with external counsel on complex cross-border transactions.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
* Guide internal stakeholders on corporate governance best practices.
* Assist in developing internal governance and risk management policies.
Risk Management
* Identify and advise on legal risks related to commercial operations.
* Structure agreements that balance commercial priorities with legal safeguards.
Data Protection & Privacy
* Provide guidance on GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy laws.
* Review data processing agreements and cross-border data transfer mechanisms.
What We’re Looking For
* Law degree from a recognized institution (UK, USA, or equivalent).
* 3–5 years of legal experience in commercial law, M&A, and corporate governance.
* Solid understanding of legal issues within the BPO, AI, and tech sectors.
* Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, international, and cross-cultural business environment.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
