Growth Account Manager

Full Time Position

With a passion for helping organizations make sense of Martech, Clevertouch works with over 500 global clients to maximise their marketing technology investments through consulting, technical delivery, and our own proprietary software.


THE ROLE:

As an Account Director at Clevertouch Consulting, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, retention, and account expansion across a portfolio of strategic existing clients.


Reporting into the Head of Growth, this role combines strategic account leadership with hands-on business development, ensuring Clevertouch maximises the value of its clients’ marketing technology investments while achieving ambitious commercial targets.


You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships, expand services and deliver measurable business outcomes. Working closely with internal delivery, consulting, and partner teams, you will ensure opportunities are accurately scoped, commercially sound, and support in the successful delivery.


You will work closely with the wider Growth team to support account development initiatives, contribute to client growth strategies, and help maintain a collaborative, client-centric culture.


Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, account retention, client satisfaction, and your ability to expand strategic relationships and identify long-term growth opportunities within your portfolio.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Revenue & Growth Leadership

  • Own the growth, retention and expansion of a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring revenue targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.
  • Identify, develop and close high-value opportunities across your portfolio, collaborating with internal experts to maximise client value.
  • Develop account plans, growth strategies, and revenue forecasts for assigned clients.
  • Lead all stages of the sales cycle for your accounts, including discovery, proposals, presentations, SOWs, pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate scoping, resourcing, and pricing of all opportunities
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to client objectives and evolving business needs.



Client Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders to support long-term partnership growth.
  • Lead strategic client engagements including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), account planning sessions, and executive stakeholder meetings.
  • Develop a deep understanding of your clients’ business priorities, challenges and objectives to position impactful solutions.
  • Monitor your client satisfaction, engagement and retention, taking proactive steps to strengthen account health and growth.
  • Ensure your clients realise measurable value from their investment in Clevertouch services and solutions.


Team Collaboration and Contribution

  • Collaborate closely with the wider Growth team, sharing client insights, opportunities, and best practice account management approaches.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of account growth strategies and processes.
  • Demonstrate strong consultative sales and client management practices in all interactions.


Partner & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with consulting, delivery, operations and partner teams to ensure client solutions are strategically aligned and deliverable.
  • Prepare for and contribute when required to senior-level internal and external meetings, including revenue reviews and strategic account discussions.
  • Build strong working relationships with strategic technology partners and internal stakeholders to support joint growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively across the Growth team to share insights, opportunities, and best practice.


Operational Excellence

  • Establish and maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting and CRM management.
  • Ensure high standards of professionalism, governance and commercial integrity in all client and partner interactions.
  • Represent Clevertouch at client meetings, partner engagements and industry events with credibility and professionalism.
  • Analyse your account performance data and revenue trends to provide accurate forecasting and identify growth opportunities.
  • Own key high-value touchpoints including QBRs, strategic reviews and executive engagements across your account base.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Significant experience in B2B sales, account management, or growth leadership (5–10+ years), ideally in marketing technology, consultancy, or services environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota in strategic account management.
  • Strong experience managing and growing complex strategic accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder client environments.
  • Experience selling to senior executives (C-Suite, Directors, Account Owners) and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, including forecasting, pipeline management and opportunity analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with credibility in face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Highly consultative approach to sales, with the ability to identify client needs and propose impactful solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Degree-level education preferred; experience and proven performance can substitute.
  • CRM experience required; Salesforce knowledge preferred.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Marketing Automation or email marketing experience
  • Experience of Marketing in a Technology or Services Provider
  • Knowledge and experience of Salesforce.com, Marketo, Eloqua or Pardot
