About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Emissions Broker to join our growing carbon trading desk. You'll facilitate transactions across voluntary carbon credits, compliance offsets, and allowances, building relationships with traders, corporates, and fund managers navigating the carbon transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and execute emissions trading opportunities across compliance (EU ETS, UK ETS) and voluntary carbon markets
* Build and manage a portfolio of institutional and corporate clients
* Price carbon products competitively and manage deal flow through origination to settlement
* Provide market insight and product education to clients
* Navigate regulatory frameworks (MRV, additionality standards, ESG disclosure)
* Support due diligence and documentation for carbon credit verification
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years in carbon trading, environmental commodities
* Deep understanding of carbon markets (compliance schemes, offset standards, emerging regulations)
* Strong numeracy and ability to model carbon economics
* Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
* Comfortable with ambiguity—carbon markets are evolving rapidly
* Excellent communication (written and verbal)
