THE ROLE: We are seeking a results-driven
General Manager
to spearhead the development of the EV Infrastructure division
from strategy to execution
with a clear mandate: build a £70m+ revenue business within 5 years. This is not just about growing a business; it's about delivering real impact and building a legacy in one of the most exciting renewable sectors. Drive and deliver the commercial strategy for EV infrastructure, covering packaged substations, feeder pillars, and installation/maintenance services. Build and lead a high-performing team (Sales, BD, Ops, QA, Admin) and set a culture of excellence from day one. Take full P&L responsibility, delivering consistent growth in revenue and margin. Shape the business plan and strategic direction in collaboration with the executive team. Forge strong partnerships with key players: Charge Point Operators (CPOs), Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), and EV installers. Expand product and service offerings across emerging transport modes
cars, buses, trucks, ferries, and beyond. THE CANDIDATE: Essential: Proven senior leadership at G.M level or similar experience, in electrical infrastructure, EV, or adjacent industries. Strong commercial acumen and full lifecycle business management (strategy to execution). Demonstrated ability to scale a business and deliver revenue and margin growth. Background in operational excellence and leading cross-functional teams. Evidence led experience of building a strategic business plan. Desirable: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above.
