Role Description
TS-UK is seeking a full-time Door Engineer to join our team on-site in Cumbernauld. The Door Engineer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of doors, including automated doors, gates, barriers, and turnstiles. Additional responsibilities include performing detailed inspections, identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with the service team to deliver high-quality work. The ideal candidate will also contribute to maintaining client relationships by providing excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Strong technical skills in door installation, automated door systems, gates, turnstiles, and barriers
* Experience with electronic and mechanical locking systems
* Ability to conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs with attention to detail
* Familiarity with fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
* Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude to understand complex systems
* Excellent communication and customer service skills for maintaining client relationships
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in engineering, electromechanical systems, or a related field are advantageous
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Full UK driving license is required
