Key Stage 2 Classroom Teacher
to join our academic family. This role is a maternity cover position focused on promoting effective learning and the social and personal progress of all pupils.
The Role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment where pupils feel encouraged to become confident, kind, and impactful world citizens. You will report directly to the Headteacher and work as part of a collaborative team to implement the National Curriculum.

Effective Instruction:
Use diverse methods and resources to enable all students to acquire new skills and knowledge.
Assessment:
Use assessment information effectively to plan precise next steps in student learning.

Create a well-organized, stimulating learning environment that fosters independent and collaborative work.

Secure high standards of behavior using effective strategies for classroom discipline.

Fully participate in the performance management system and engage in CPD activities.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience:
Proven experience teaching across Key Stage 2, either through teaching practice or a current post.
Skills:
The ability to interest, engage, and provide appropriate levels of challenge for students.
Knowledge:
A good understanding of the National Curriculum and current best practices in teaching and learning.
Commitment:
A dedication to safeguarding students and an understanding of equality of opportunity issues.
