This is a strategic new business role focused on winning high value, recurring contracts with industrial customers across the East and West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging and converting new clients with annual electrical services spend of over £1 million. You’ll be joining a business that values insight led selling, long term relationships and tailored solutions over transactional wins. What you’ll be doing… Developing and converting a pipeline of new business opportunities in key industrial sectors Building tailored strategies to engage and win target accounts Leading the preparation of proposals, tenders and commercial submissions Managing negotiations and contract discussions with prospective clients Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align on sales strategy and delivery planning Exploring opportunities to expand into new regions and adjacent sectors Contributing to internal sales meetings and supporting the wider commercial agenda Representing the business at customer events and industry forums What we’re looking for… At least 3 years’ experience in business development or sales within electrical services A strong understanding of industrial sectors such as food, drink or pharma Confident communicator with a consultative and customer-focused approach Strategic thinker who can adapt to different customer needs and buying processes Organised, proactive and commercially minded with a focus on long-term value Please note due to high volumes of applications unfortunately we are not always able to respond to all unsuccessful applicants.
