Overview
We are currently looking for an interim Electrical Design Engineer for an initial 6‑month period. The position is based in Penrith, requiring one day per week on site, with a possible increase to two days per week during the summer.
Responsibilities
* Plan maintenance and new building works across Council and University properties.
* Design new rewiring schemes.
* Create lighting layouts.
* Size small‑power wiring.
* Collaborate with security and fire alarm designers.
* Use Dialux or Relux for lighting design.
* Perform Electrical OM sizing of cables.
