Plain Clothed Security Personnel (Store Detective)
Full‑time and part‑time roles available across various shifts at locations including Slough, Maidenhead, Marlow, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Aylesbury and Oxford. Pay rate: £15.45 per hour. A valid UK driving licence and mileage reimbursement (45p per mile up to 5,000 miles, 25p thereafter) are required. Valid SIA SG, DS or CP licence is preferred; Mitie can support you in obtaining one.
Key Responsibilities
* Observe and apprehend persons behaving dishonestly within legal and safety limits.
* Liaise with local authorities and crime prevention partners to stay updated on crime trends in the area.
* Maintain safety and support team collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Adaptable communication style to meet the needs of different people groups.
* Ability to work in a fast‑moving services business.
* Capability in using technology for reporting and monitoring.
* Good attention to detail and high enthusiasm, passion and team‑player attitude.
* Valid UK driving licence; mileage reimbursement as described.
* Preferred: SIA SG, DS or CP licence (Mitie can provide support).
