The Role: As Project Manager, you will: Lead and manage all aspects of the highways project from inception to completion. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Manage and coordinate the work of engineers, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement solutions to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. Maintain strong relationships with clients (e.g., local authorities, transport agencies), stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and quality standards. Manage the project's commercial aspects, including contract administration and variation control. What We're Looking For: A proven track record in project management within the highways sector, ideally with experience of delivering similar projects in rural or semi-rural environments. Strong understanding of highway construction techniques, regulations, and best practices. Excellent knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control methodologies.
