Do you care about family life in your community?
BCM’s Parent Support Programme is looking for compassionate volunteers to provide 1:1 practical and emotional support to parents of children aged 5–13 years - based in the Dungannon/Armagh areas.
Support is offered for up to 12 weeks, in the family’s own home, helping parents navigate challenges and build confidence.
You don’t need to be an expert—just someone who listens, encourages, and cares.

Tasks and responsibilities
* Assist the Parent Support Worker during home visits
* Facilitate play with children while Parent Support Worker engages with parents
* Assist parents with everyday household tasks
* Offering some 'me' time to parents who are struggling
* Sharing opportunities on local activities and events
* Accompanying families to outings - appointments/park
* Assisting with group work preparation and delivery
* Reporting incidents or concerns to Parent Support Worker
* Attending training where appropriate
