Lecturer in Foundation Learning
Salary: £32,938 - £40,725 (pro rata)
Location: Huddersfield
Hours and Weeks per Year: 30 hours / 52 weeks
We are looking for a Lecturer in Foundation Learning to be based on Waterfront, Huddersfield. The role focuses on delivering bespoke and personalised programmes to students with SEND/SEMH.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching students with SEND/SEMH
* Monitoring and assessing students in accordance with the programme requirements and contributing to the Quality Improvement Strategy.
* Contributing to curriculum development, design and delivery in response to changing requirements and new demands.
* Maintaining and monitoring college systems.
Qualifications
PGCE with a specialism in SEND/SEMH, and demonstrable experience in teaching young people with SEND/SEMH. Ability to support delivery of functional skills English and Maths is advantageous. Effective communication skills and ability to engage with young people with a wide range of learning needs are essential. Demonstrate the College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
