Job Description
Due to the continued growth of our EU business, we are now looking to hire an experienced Document Controller in the Birmingham area.
In this role, you would join an experienced team and have responsibility for the document control processes across all assigned sites.
What You Would Do
1. Set up new enquiries in K&M management system as required.
2. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
3. Experience using 4 Projects and Procore.
4. Adhere to the SOP for all document control.
5. Type and print labels for sites.
6. File, photocopy, and print all relevant documents as necessary.
7. Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems, and devise ways to streamline processes.
8. Manage calendar schedules for meetings, ensuring all catering and tech are set up for each meeting on site.
9. Monitor inventory of office supplies and purchase new materials with attention to budget constraints.
10. Organize and supervise site office activities (recycling, event/celebration planning, etc.).
11. Represent the organization through interaction with suppliers and clients.
12. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
13. Coordinate delivery and setup of IT equipment in the office and remote locations.
14. Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent organizational skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Office.
5. Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
6. Confident and professional telephone manner.
