Job Opportunity: Instrumental Music Instructor (Woodwind) - Falkirk Instrumental Music Service
Falkirk Instrumental Music Service is seeking to recruit a permanent Instrumental Music Instructor for Woodwind (0.6FTE). Our service provides high-quality tuition to children and young people across primary and secondary schools, supporting both BGE and Senior Phase.
We are looking for a committed and high-quality Instrumental Instructor who can deliver progressive, effective, and engaging lessons to fully involve pupils in their learning. Most lessons are conducted in small groups. The post holder will work within the Denny, Grangemouth, and Larbert clusters and support either Falkirk Schools Senior Orchestra or Falkirk Schools Junior Wind Band as part of our regional groups.
Preference will be given to candidates available to work Tuesday – Thursday; however, this is negotiable.
Successful applicants will hold an appropriate music degree.
You will work 14 hours per week.
Applicants who advance to the next stage will be invited to participate in a classroom observation and attend a formal interview.
If selected, you will be required to obtain and maintain PVG scheme membership.
