Overview
To assist with the operation of Health Records Services across all areas of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The main focus of this role is to accurately index, sort, scan and quality check confidential records. This role is target driven and office based. The post holder will be part of a team of staff who organise and provide all records functions within the Health Records Department. The main focus of this role will be to support the Evolve Team, who index, sort, electronically scan and quality check patients records. Ensure availability of health records as and when required. Ensure the Trust standard required for the quality of the health records is maintained. Provide a Health Records Archiving service for the Trust. Refile the notes, whilst maintaining the libraries. Undertaking other general administration required to support the department. This role is target driven. Full training will be provided, however the departmental target would be expected on completion of training. Responsibilities
* Provide a full clerical support service within the Health Records Department.
* Undertake all process within the Evolve Team; indexing, sorting & scanning confidential patients records onto the electronic patient record.
* Training in other areas of the department will be provided to support the whole Health Records service.
* Ensure availability of health records as and when required and maintain the Trust quality standards for health records.
* Be part of a team that organises and provides all records functions within the Health Records Department.
* Refile notes and maintain the libraries for health records.
* Undertake other general administration required to support the department.
* Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust\'s policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.
Qualifications and Skills
* Computer literacy and experience in accurate inputting of data.
* Organisational skills and a methodical approach with a keen eye for detail.
* Flexibility and adaptability to change.
* Training on in-house information systems will be provided.
* Proactive and enthusiastic attitude for clerical work in Health Records.
