Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of orders through our logistics and supply chain processes. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. The Order Processor will be responsible for ensuring accurate order fulfilment, inventory management, and effective communication with various departments.
Responsibilities
* Manage inventory levels through effective category management, materials handling, and continuous analysis of trends to optimise stock control.
* Review, verify, and process customer orders with 100% accuracy, ensuring payment terms, shipping details, and customer data are correctly applied.
* Liaise with third-party logistics providers to maintain smooth operations, resolve issues promptly, and ensure on-time delivery.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels.
* Conduct data analysis to identify operational trends, support decision-making, and improve forecasting accuracy.
* Implement and monitor process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
* Contribute to overall team success by collaborating effectively and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Experience
* Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment with a solid understanding of inventory management and materials handling.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights for operational improvements.
* Experience in category management, order processing, and process optimisation is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of shipping, receiving protocols, and best practices in warehouse operations.
* Excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to ensure order and data accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Ability to work both collaboratively in a team setting and independently with minimal supervision.
