Your role
1. Leading a team of Care and Support Assistants
2. Working closely with staff to provide personal care and support to our customers
3. Safe handling of medication
4. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
5. Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments as appropriate
6. Managing and implementing safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our customers
Your skills
7. Recent experience of working in a similar role is essential
8. Previous experience supervising a team
9. Personalised approach to care and support, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive relationships with people from varied backgrounds
10. Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
11. Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
12. NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
13. Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice
