Assistant Finance Manager, Management Accounting Team. Salary circa £50,000 per annum, negotiable based on skills and experience. 34 days off and a health cash plan. 12 Month Maternity Cover, Full Time 37.5 hpw. Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, One Strawberry Lane, hybrid working with 2 office days per week.

It’s a unique opportunity to try out life as a Finance Manager. You’ll lead people, influence decisions and help shape how we run things. We’re a not-for-profit, but we need to be financially sharp to keep supporting our customers. That’s where you come in.
What you’ll do
* Lead and coach a small team, creating space for people to shine
* Prepare accurate management accounts and clear reports
* Partner with teams across Home Group to explain the numbers and spot opportunities
* Review forecasts and challenge assumptions to support better decisions
* Work closely with a brilliant Finance Manager who’ll support and stretch you
* Help build a culture of continuous improvement in everything we do

* Experience in financial reporting and management accounting
