What you’ll be doing as a Collections Advisor
As a Collections Advisor, you will support customers through inbound and outbound calls via telephone. Your role involves listening to their situations and affordability, organising collections through payments, and arranging payment plans.
* Engage with customers to understand their billing inquiries and disputes, ensuring each interaction is handled with empathy and efficiency.
* Take ownership of each case, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each customer.
* Organise collections through manageable payment plans, always considering the customer's financial circumstances.
* Ask thoughtful questions to make customers feel heard and supported, fostering a positive experience.
Location: Walnut Court, Swindon.
Working Hours: Hybrid – Monday to Friday, between 8 am to 8 pm. Shift patterns include:
* 8.00 am – 3.45 pm
* 8.30 am – 4.15 pm
* 9.00 am – 4.45 pm
* 9.30 am – 5.15 pm
* 10.00 am – 5.45 pm
* 12.15 pm – 8.00 pm
What you should bring to the role
* A strong passion for customer service, with the ability to empathise and listen to customers.
* Confidence in problem-solving and assisting customers experiencing financial difficulties.
* Excellent telephone manner to interact effectively with customers.
* Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
* A great team player with collaborative skills.
* Keen to learn and progress.
