We currently have vacancy for a full time Personal Advisor within our Care Experienced Team. This is a role primarily supporting young people who are looked after and who are care experienced aged 16-25 yrs of age, supporting them to prepare for and develop skills for adulthood and moving into independence. The role is 37 hours per week and involves a degree of flexible working. About the role: This rewarding role will see you responding to, co-ordinating and delivering a range of social care services to children in care and who young people who are care experienced in Bath and North East Somerset. We work closely with our colleagues across the service and have established partnerships with agencies across health, housing, education and adult services to ensure we can respond as effectively as possible to the needs of these young people. The role involves some travelling as we follow/support our young people regardless of where they live. We are seeking applications from workers who have relevant experience and a specific interest in this area of work and are looking to enhance and further develop their skills and contribute to service development. Our team is based at Civic Centre in Keynsham with the Children and Young People Service and we are looking for an enthusiastic worker to join our team. You will experience a culture of mutual support amongst team members and receive formal supervision on a regular basis and appropriate training. You will need to be committed to using a wide range of skills to promote and safeguard the welfare and development of young people and assist them individually and alongside their carers and families in creative and innovative ways to ensure timely care and support planning and intervention.
